<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing a drainage facility for a road capable of constructing gutter blocks having a high strength while having a drainage function for draining rainwater into a ground and maintainable easily. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Mounting recesses 5 are formed in the bottom parts 4 of the respective gutter blocks 3 fixed parallel to each other. The mounting recesses 5 are arranged continuously at the bottom parts 4 of the respective gutter blocks 3 fixed parallel to each other in the direction in which the gutter blocks 3 are arranged parallel to each other. A drilled down hole 6 reaching the underground below a foundation part 2 through the bottom parts 4 of the gutter blocks 3 is formed by drilling a part of the mounting recesses 5 downward. After inserting a drainage pipe 7 having a length equal to the hole length of the drilled down hole 6 and fixing the pipe in the buried state, permeable members 8 are fitted to the respective mounting recesses 5 in the fitted state.
