<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass molding die and an apparatus for manufacturing a glass molded body where the glass molded body having a desired shape can be stably molded from molten glass with a lower viscosity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The glass molding die has an inclined body having an inclined surface located at an end side of a molding surface, sidewalls located at both sides of the molding surface and a cooling means having a contacting area to be in contact with the fallen molten glass on the inclined surface and to cool at least a part of the contacting area. The apparatus for manufacturing the glass molded body has the glass molding die and a molten glass supplying means located at an upper portion of the inclined surface.
