<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable unit with a camera for which a screen is made easy to be viewed by keeping the direction of an operating image and the direction of a photographed image within a window in a fixed relation at all times even when a portable unit body is rotated. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The portable unit 100 with a display device 20 and a camera device 30 includes: an operating image generation part 151 for generating the operating image based on an OS; a photographed image rotating processing part 162 for rotating the photographed image of the camera device 30 in relation to the display device 20; an image composition part 152 for combining the photographed image rotated by the photographed image rotating processing part 162 with the operating image; a composite image rotating processing part 153 for rotating the composite image combined by the image composition part 152 in relation to the display device 20; and a rotating angle detection part 180 for detecting the rotating angle of the photographed image in relation to the display device 20 by analyzing the photographed image. The photographed image rotating processing part 162 and the composite image rotating processing part 153 perform the rotating operation on the basis of information from the rotating angle detection part 180.
