<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof case capable of maintaining excellent waterproof properties by obtaining sufficient contactness when the case is closed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An upper case 5 and a lower case 7 are joined to each other at the top end by a hinge mechanism 70, to constitute an openable and closable storage case 3 storing a mobile electronic device 15. A packing material 10 is provided in the opening of the lower case 7, to constitute the waterproof case 1. Operation levers 11 which are turnably and pivotally attached to the upper case 5 and engaged with engagement pieces 93 provided in the lower case 7, in response to a rotational operation, to make it impossible to open or close the upper case 5 and the lower case 7, are provided at two places of the bottom end of the storage case 3.
