PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser light source which enables high power and high efficiency. SOLUTION: The laser light source 200 includes a light emission unit 211 which emits the laser light source, a first mirror 220 which reflects part of the laser light L1 emitted from the light emission unit 211 toward the direction different from the light emission unit 211, a second mirror 230 which reflects and returns the laser light of the basic wavelength out of the incident laser light, and a wavelength conversion element 240 which is disposed in an optical path between the first 220 and the second mirror 230, and converts at least part of the S polarized light with respect to the first mirror 220 out of the incident basic wavelength to the laser light. The first mirror 220 has a surface 220A which causes the polarized light of the laser light of the basic wavelength with respect to the first mirror to reflect selectively and a surface 220A to transmit the laser light of the transmission wavelength.
