PURPOSE: A sound distribution apparatus is provided to form the high-pitched sound in a longitudinal direction uniformly by emphasizing the high-pitched sound in a tweeter. CONSTITUTION: A reflective wall unit(1) is made of the material with high sound impedance in comparison to a space. A plurality of sound radiation slits(3a-3d) are formed in an acoustic waveguide(4). A speaker(6) is formed in an end of one side of the acoustic waveguide. A cover(5) is formed in the end of the other side of the acoustic waveguide. A pipe speaker is comprised of the acoustic waveguide, the cover, and the speaker. A flange(10) fixes an acoustic waveguide in the bottom. The other side of the acoustic waveguide has a closed structure. The position of an acoustic hole is defined to the position of the peak of an ordinary wave corresponding to the length of the acoustic waveguide and the position of the peak of the odd high frequency wave of the ordinary wave. |
