The invention relates to an electrical insulation test as well as to the production of photovoltaic modules (1), especially of thin-film photovoltaic modules, for which the current-conducting component (6) is disposed on a panel-shaped substrate (5) and which are insulated electrically in the area of the module edge (4, 35). In order to simplify the testing of the insulation of such photovoltaic modules (1), it is proposed that, during the production of the photovoltaic module (1), testing of the electrical insulation takes place, for which, by means of a mechanical contacting device (17, 18, 30, 31) a test voltage is applied between the module edge (4, 35) on the one hand and the electrical connections (3) of the photovoltaic module (1), which, are remote from the module edge (4 and 35), lead to the outside, on the other. |
