PURPOSE: An insert for processing a pulley and a cutting tool assembly having the same are provided to improve the manufacturing efficiency by simplifying the shape of a holder pocket by including a shim. CONSTITUTION: An insert(100) for processing a pulley is formed in a rectangular shape composed of 4 sides(110,120,130,140), and two parallel flat planes(150,160). The insert for processing the pulley has a central through hole extended between two flat planes. A cutting blade is formed by crossing two or more sides of four sides which face each other with the flat plane. Plural saw-toothed projections are formed on two sides which face each other. The two or more sides which face each other are formed to be symmetrical to the central shaft of the central through hole. |
