<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery superior in lifetime characteristics, and storage characteristics while using a ternary system positive electrode active material of which production cost is relatively inexpensive. <P>SOLUTION: In the lithium secondary battery including a negative electrode, a positive electrode, a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution composed of lithium salt and nonaqueous organic solvent, the positive electrode contains the ternary positive electrode active material, and the electrolytic solution contains at least either one of succinonitrile 0.5 to 5 wt.%, halogenated ethylene carbonate 1 to 10 wt.%, and vinyl ethylene carbonate 1 to 5 wt.% as additives. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
