<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visitor management system for counting the number of visitors to a store or the like, which is important information of customer trends, by using image data obtained from a monitoring camera installed in the store, a parking lot, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The visitor management system provided with the monitoring camera for outputting image data and shooting time together at predetermined intervals includes: a visitor detection means for detecting an object moving in a predetermined area of the image data, that is a visitor entering the predetermined area, based on the result of comparing each corresponding pixel in predetermined area portions of two image data continued in time; a visitor identification means for identifying each visitor based on positional relation of visitor detection between the two image data continued in time; and a visitor counting means for counting the number of visitors identified by the visitor identification means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
