SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the ultrasonic sensor is constituted such that the ultrasonic sensor equipped with an ultrasonic device is attached to an internal surface of a vehicle bumper and that the bumper is used as a transmission channel of vibration. An annular groove is provided adjacent to a mounting site of the ultrasonic sensor at the internal surface of the bumper to surround the mounting site. The relationship between the width W1 and depth D1 of this groove and the thickness T1 of the bumper is made to meet an expression: (D1/T1)/(W1/T1)1/2≤1. Ž
