The unit has a blowing nozzle (20) with two treatment tubes (30) that are axially connected with one another, where end edges of the tubes are attached to each other. The tubes are attached downstream to a discharge duct (60) for guiding a flow medium i.e. fume, of a gas system (10). Tube area of tubes is divided into multiple inner areas which are arranged axially to each other. The inner areas are limited by tube walls and transverse or radial plates (34, 38) containing a break-through (35). The inner areas are formed as spraying areas for liquid. An independent claim is also included for a method for guiding a flow medium in a tube unit.
