PURPOSE: A projection welding nut and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to extend the service life of a mold by optimizing the molding deformation of material. CONSTITUTION: A material is provided as wire-type and is cut in the fixed length. The both end edge of material is pressurized to the round shape. The outer circumference one part of material is pressurized in order to have the body of the polygonal shape. The inclines are formed on the curved part one end of the material. The curved part, in which three inclines are formed, is pressurized in order to form a tight fit part(312) of the disc shape. A hole passing through the central part of material is formed. A female screw(315') is formed on the inner circumference of the hole. When transferring material to the post step, the direction of material is converted at the angular step 180°.
