The inventive antiviral agent contains fucoidan produced from brown fucus or laminaria type algae in the form of an up to 30kDa salt solution of a complex of vegetable polysaccharides with a concentration of 0.01-0.15%, which complex comprises fucoidan, laminaran and alginate produced from brown fucus or laminaria type algae, wherein the salt solution comprises a preservative selected from a group consisting of sodium benzoate with a concentration of 0.01-0.3%, or potassium sorbate with a concentration of 0.02-0.3 or formaldehyde with a concentration of 0.01-0.3%, the rest of the salt solution being a sodium chloride aqueous solution with a concentration of 0.85-0.95%. Furthermore, the complex of vegetable polysaccharides comprises fucoidan, laminaran and alginate taken with a random ratio, preferably said complex of vegetable polysaccharides comprises fucoidan in a concentration of 10-99.9%. The invention makes it possible to extend the antiviral action range with respect to herpes virus of types 1 and 2, cytomegalovirus, adenovirus and hepatitis C virus without marked side effects.
|
