<p>A continuously cast slab which contains by mass C: 0.01 to 0.3%, Si: 0.05 to 0.5%, Mn: 0.4 to 2%, P: 0.03% or less, S: 0.03% or less, Al: 0.005 to 0.03%, Ni: 0.2 to 2%, O: 0.006% or less, and N: 0.006% or less with the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurity elements and in which the steel structure within at least 2mm from the surfaces of the wide faces consists of both ferrite and pearlite with the circle-equivalent diameters of the ferrite grains being 30µm or below.</p> |
