<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quinazoline derivative effective for angiogenesis and/or illness related to vascular permeability increase. <P>SOLUTION: The quinazoline derivative is represented by formula (I), wherein R<SP>1</SP>indicates hydrogen or a methoxy; R<SP>2</SP>indicates various substituents such as a methoxy and an ethoxy; and the phenyl group having (R<SP>3</SP>)<SB>2</SB>is selected from the following phenyl groups: 2-fluoro-5-hydroxyphenyl, 4-bromo-2-fluorophenyl, 2,4-difluorophenyl and the like, a production method of the quinazoline derivative and a pharmaceutical composition containing the compound represented by formula (I) or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient are provided. The compound represented by formula (I) or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt inhibits the function of VEGF (vascular endotherial growth factor), which is a useful feature for treatment of many disease states including cancer and chronic rheumatoid arthritis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
