PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a stretched thermoplastic polyester resin sheet, capable of stably producing the same that is flat and free of wrinkle-like irregularities on the surface. SOLUTION: The process for producing the stretched thermoplastic polyester resin sheet is characterized by supplying a long amorphous thermoplastic polyester resin sheet between a pair of rotating rolls to conduct rolling and then pulling the obtained rolled thermoplastic polyester resin sheet at a speed higher than the rotational speed of the rolls and at a speed 1.2 times or less of that.
