RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE TEXTILE CORD AND PNEUMATIC TIRE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire textile cord attaining low fuel consumption, stable driving, and durability; and to provide a pneumatic tire using the same. SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a tire textile cord comprises 0.5-5.0 pts.mass of phenolic resin, 0.5-3.0 pts.mass of methylene donor and 5-30 pts.mass of oil-extended clay per 100 pts.mass of diene-type rubber satisfying the requirement a: styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber and natural rubber and/or isoprene rubber respectively account for 10 pts.mass or more and 40 pts.mass or more of 100 pts.mass of the diene-type rubber.
