摘要 The present invention relates to a functional unpolished rice processing apparatus which removes a part of an outer layer (rough layer) of unpolished rice obtained by removing the husk (chaff) from the rice to enable moisture to be absorbed into a starch layer during rice cooking. The present invention incises unpolished rice during continuous conveying of unpolished rice from a hopper such that the starch layer is exposed through a part of the outer layer of unpolished rice, and thus provides soft and highly nutritious unpolished cooked rice similar to polished cooked rice while maintaining nearly the entire outer layer of the unpolished rice. To this end, the functional unpolished rice processing apparatus of the present invention includes: a main body (1); a hopper (3) arranged on the main body and supported by a bracket (8) having an inlet port (8a), and which is filled with unpolished rice (2) to be processed; an unpolished rice supply roller (5) arranged directly below the inlet port and wrapped with an elastic body (4); a guide member (9) fixed to the bracket such that the guide member is interposed between the bracket and the unpolished rice supply roller, and which guides unpolished rice so that the latter is supplied on the elastic body; an unpolished rice alignment means introduced into the guide member (9) to align the unpolished rice (2); an unpolished rice pressing means supported by the main body (1) such that the former is arranged at the rear end of the unpolished rice alignment means, and which presses unpolished rice (2) against the elastic body (4) immediately before the processing of the unpolished rice; a circular cutter blade unit (7) arranged at the rear end of the unpolished rice pressing means via a shaft (13) the same as that of the unpolished rice pressing means such that the circular cutter blade unit rotates faster than the unpolished rice supply roller (5) in the direction opposite to the rotation direction of the unpolished rice supply roller (5), and which forms at least one or more blade scars (6) on the unpolished rice (2); and a driving unit for driving the unpolished rice supply roller (5), the unpolished rice alignment means, and the circular cutter blade unit (7) at the same time.
