The device has a covering element i.e. roller blind (1), movable from an open position in which an opening is not covered by the covering element to a stable closing position in which the opening is covered by the covering element. The covering element exhibits a set of regions (3, 4) of different structures displacable in an opening plane, where the regions partially cover the opening in the closing position. A grid material is arranged in one of the two regions, and an opaque fabric is arranged in the other region. A glass element is arranged beside the covering element.
