The method comprises predetermining a pattern (10) of foot socks, where the pattern has two first pattern edges (14.1, 14.2), two second pattern edges (18.1, 18.2) and two third pattern edges (16.1, 16.2), preparing the non-woven material, introducing an elastic strip element on the non-woven material at one of the third pattern edges, introducing colorless and/or colored microballs in the non-woven material, shaping the non-woven material based on the pattern, and joining together the first, second and third pattern edges by adhering, sewing and/or ultrasonic welding. The method comprises predetermining a pattern (10) of foot socks, where the pattern has two first pattern edges (14.1, 14.2), two second pattern edges (18.1, 18.2) and two third pattern edges (16.1, 16.2), preparing the non-woven material, introducing an elastic strip element on the non-woven material at one of the third pattern edges, introducing colorless and/or colored microballs in the non-woven material, shaping the non-woven material based on the pattern, and joining together the first, second and third pattern edges by adhering, sewing and/or ultrasonic welding. The third pattern edges define the foot opening of the foot socks. The non-woven material is made of synthetic and/or natural fibers and is provided on a roller and/or rollers, so that the two patterns are parallely processed.
