<p>The chain has an internal combustion engine (1) and an electric machine i.e. permanent-magnet synchronous motor, comprising a stator (5) and a rotor (4). The internal combustion engine and/or the rotor are coupled with a gear input shaft (6) by a coupling. The stator is rotatably mounted on a housing (7) and connected with the housing by a coupling (10) in a torque proof manner. The stator is connected with the rotor using a coupling (11) which is designed as a mechanical friction coupling or electromagnet coupling.</p>
