The method involves providing an observed code to a visitor (4) by a selection unit (6). A linguistic articulation of the code of the visitor, is recorded and analyzed by a speech recognition unit (8) in a speech recognition field. The code is formed from a quantity of code elements (Z1,Z2,Z3), which is randomly selected from another quantity of code elements. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an access control device with a release unit; and (2) an access verification system with an access control device.
