PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional ventilation fan that a wall and a ceiling around the mounted ventilation fan become dirty since outside air is made to flow in from a clearance between and among the wall, the ceiling and the mounted ventilation fan along the mounting face, thus contaminating a surrounding area. SOLUTION: To prevent outside air from entering from a clearance, an airtight member is provided in a flange of a ventilation fan body.
