PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jaw crusher in which a gap for crushing can be set in a simple and quick manner. SOLUTION: The jaw crusher is provided with machine bases 50 composed by assembling side plates with different directions, a movable seat 60, a fixed seat 70, a crushing process adjusting mechanism 80, and a crushing gap automatically adjusting mechanism 90. The movable seat 60 is mounted on the machine bases 50 by an eccentric shaft 61 and has movable blades 62 on the crushing face. The fixed seat 70 has fixed blades 71 fixed to the machine bases 50 and corresponding to the movable blades 62 of the movable seat 60. In the crushing gap automatically adjusting mechanism 90, a steel tank 91 on a braking plate 94 and a pair of wedge-like blocks 92 are mounted on a position adjusting seat 93 fixed to the machine base 50.
