PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesive property and rigidity of a connection part by a simple structure, in a connection structure and a connection method of a vehicle body frame. SOLUTION: With the connection structure and connection method of the vehicle body frame, an outer circumferential surface of a polygonal member the section area of which is a substantial polygonal shape, for example, a rectangular main pipe 2 having a substantially quadrilateral shape is connected with an longitudinal end part of a cylindrical member, for example, a round rear part pipe 7. In the end part of the round rear part pipe 7, an attaching part 31 having a double wall structure of which section area is a substantial L-shape is integrally formed. For example, the polygonal main pipe 2 includes four wall surfaces 2a, 2b, 2c on its left, right, top and bottom. Two piece parts 31a, 31b arranged in an L-shape structuring the attaching part 31 respectively contact with the two wall surfaces 2a, 2b of the polygonal main pipe 2 and are connected with the wall surfaces 2a, 2b by welding.
