<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car-washing machine capable of detecting the abnormal state that a liquid agent or the like cannot be sprayed from an arch relative to the vehicle, i.e., a car-washing object. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the car-washing machine having a spray device, the spray device is provided with branch pipes 41a, 41b-44 connected to the arches 20a, 20b-23 for spraying the liquid agent or the like and having solenoid valves 55a, 55b-58; a main pipe 52 connected with the branch pipes 41a, 41b-44; and a pump 53 for feeding washing water to the main pipe 52. A hydraulic switch 54 is provided on the main pipe 52, the solenoid valves 55a, 55b-58 are closed, and the pump 53 is driven. When the hydraulic switch 54 is turned ON, the pump 53 is stopped and the solenoid valves 55a, 55b-58 are opened. Unless the hydraulic switch 54 is turned OFF within a previously set time, it is determined as abnormality of the spray device.
