<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) communication equipment for eliminating the labor of CEC disconnection restoration by automatically performing CEC communication restoration processing by the reset of the CEC, and for improving the operating ratio of CEC communication when CEC communication disconnection due to software failure is detected. <P>SOLUTION: When CEC communication disconnection due to software failure is detected by a CEC communication line monitoring part 108, a CEC control part 102 determines the reset order of the CEC equipment on a CEC network, and notifies a CEC reset part 107 of a CEC reset request, and the CEC reset part 107 performs CEC reset execution and CEC communication restoration processing to the CEC equipment on the CEC network through the line of an HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) other than the CEC (DDC (Display Data Channel) in Fig.1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
