<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable method for reducing whole printing cost by eliminating wastes and time loss due to a reprint job, and determining a volume of an ink remaining in a printer on real time. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes measuring a first mass of an ink container supported by a printer support device, converting the first mass to a first volume, printing a first print job, measuring a second mass of the ink container after printing the first print job, and converting the second mass to a second volume. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
