PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly estimate a position of a magnetic pole by using a trajectory of a peak value of an omnidirectional pulse current.
SOLUTION: Pulse voltages switched to omnidirectional phases are sequentially applied to a PM motor 6 by a pulse generation phase command part 12 and a power converter 5, and each of a current detector 7, a sample holding circuit 13, an A-D converter 14 and a memory 15 obtains the peak value of the omnidirectional pulse current flowing into a winding of the PM motor. A phase estimation operation part 16 determines that the trajectory of the peak value of the omnidirectional pulse current has a "two-mountain" shape, and that the peak value has not become abnormally large, and estimates a rotational position (phase) from the trajectory of the peak value of the omnidirectional current when the determination is obtained.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
