<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle control device for more reducing an influence on fuel consumption when diagnosing an in-vehicle unit which can not be diagnosed unless an engine is rotated. <P>SOLUTION: An in-vehicle control unit 1 is configured to carry out motoring to rotate an engine 41 with power to be generated by an electric motor 37 during the charging of an in-vehicle battery 21 by an external power source 10, and to diagnose an electronic throttle device during motoring. When the motoring is carried out, burning is not carried out by the engine 41, and the engine 41 is rotated by an in-vehicle battery 21. In this case, the electric energy of the in-vehicle battery 21 to be consumed by rotating the engine 41 is replenished from the external power source 10 to more reduce an influence on fuel consumption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
