PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored curable composition for ultraviolet laser exposure which enables to form a pattern having high linewidth stability in a developing step on a substrate, to provide a pattern forming method giving stable pattern profile, and to provide a method for manufacturing a color filter suitable for forming a colored pixel pattern of a color filter.

SOLUTION: The colored curable composition for ultraviolet laser exposure includes at least (A) a polymerizable compound, (B) a photopolymerization initiator, (C) a colorant and (D) a resin, wherein (B) the photopolymerization initiator is represented by formula (I).
