<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic panel system having at least one damping bumper. <P>SOLUTION: This acoustic panel system includes a plurality of acoustic panel segments including a radial inner surface 202 circumferentially aligned about an inner diameter of a fan containment case 36 and respectively forming a part of a fluid duct, a radial outer surface 218 forming a gap 216 between the fan containment case and itself and a rear end lip 206 constituted so as to be inserting into a meshing groove in the fan storage case, and at least one damping bumper 220 including an energy absorbing elastomer material joined to the radial outer surface, extending up to the fan storage case from the radial outer surface and constituted so as to be capable of dissipating a forced response of vibrational stimulation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
