PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate production of a lengthy screw shaft for driving a conveying truck provided with required bending strength. SOLUTION: In the screw shaft 1 for driving the conveying truck fitted with a driven roller 5 supported along a traveling route of the conveying truck and pivotally supported on the conveying truck 2, the screw shaft 1 comprises: a central shaft rod 12 having both ends rotatably supported by a bearing 23; and a plurality of cylindrical screw single bodies 13 externally fitted/fixed to the central shaft rod 12 so as to be aligned in an axial direction of the central shaft rod 12 in series. The respective cylindrical screw single bodies 13 comprise a cylindrical body 17 and a helical blade 18 projectingly provided on an outer side, and are externally fitted/fixed to the central shaft rod 12 respectively such that the helical blade 18 is continued in an axial direction of the central shaft rod 12.
