<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food baking device which is capable of keeping a beautiful baking result for a long period of time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: (1) A first baking plate 11 is rotated in the direction of a second baking plate 13; and (2) both of them are in the vertically stacked state. At that time, a lock pin 25 of the first baking plate 11 is fit in a lock hole 35 of the second baking plate 13, and the first baking plate 11 and the second baking plate 13 are positioned securely. (3) The first baking plate 11 and the second baking plate 13 are arranged at an appropriate position, and a vertically stacked state is formed. Then, a connecting member 41 which is positioned at a handle 27 of the first baking plate 11 is engaged with a handle 37 of the second baking plate 13, and both of them are fixed integrally. Thereby, when the first baking plate 11 and the second baking plate 13 are in the vertically stacked state, both of them can be arranged at an appropriate position. Therefore, wear of a surface using Teflon (R) or the like of the first baking plate 11 and the second baking plate 13 can be prevented, and a beautiful baking result can be kept for a long period of time.
