<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-operated valve in which an upper part of a stator can be made small and a stopper can prevent rotation and coming-out of the stator with respect to a can. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the motor-operated valve 1A comprising a valve body 2A, the can 3 fixed to the valve body 2A, the stator 5 fitted to the can 3 and formed with a lock holding piece 21 in the lower part, and the stopper 30A for the stator, the stopper 30A being held by the lock holding piece 21 and the stator 5 being locked to the valve body 2A by the stopper 30A, a plurality of engagement recessed parts 10 are formed in the periphery of the valve body 2A, one engagement projected part 35A is formed in a tongue-shape holding piece 34 of a base plate 30a of the stopper 30A, and the engagement projected part 35A selectively fits to the plurality of engagement recessed parts 10.
