PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement method of hemoglobin into an excrement specimen, capable of precisely measuring even a specimen showing an abnormal value, since it has been confirmed that an unspecific specimen shows an abnormal value in a measurement method of hemoglobin in an excrement specimen by an immunological measurement method, such as, a gold colloid agglutination method and a latex agglutination method. SOLUTION: The measurement method of hemoglobin into an excrement specimen features coexistence of an anti-haptoglobin antibody inside a reaction system. Also, a reagent kit for measuring hemoglobin into an excrement specimen includes a reagent containing a carrier carrying an anti-haptoglobin antibody and a reagent containing an anti-haptoglobin antibody, or a regent containing a carrier carrying an anti-haptoglobin antibody and an anti-haptoglobin antibody.
