<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a projected state of an endoscope hood from an insertion tube end surface and a stored state thereof without making a diameter of a distal end of the insertion tube large. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This endoscope distal end length adjustment system has the endoscope hood 20, and a displacement transmitting part 30. The endoscope hood 20 has a hood body, and a first driving magnet 22. The hood body is cylindrically formed so that the insertion tube 42 may be inserted therein. The first driving magnet 22 is embedded near an end part of an insertion side of the hood body. The displacement transmitting part 30 has a second driving magnet and transmission wire. The second driving magnet is attached to one end of the transmission wire. The endoscope hood 20 is inserted into the insertion tube 42.
