The invention relates to the monitoring, measuring, testing, and/or analyzing of a flexible or movable material or component, such as films or fabrics, for example sails, caps of parachutes or paragliders, tarpaulins, flaps that move under load, such as by the air forces arising in a sailplane, paraglider, or the sail of a sailboat, wherein a plurality of sensor nodes applied on or at the material, preferably having integrated power supply, transmit signals representing the measured physical parameter wirelessly to a receiver. Corresponding signals can also be obtained by applying corresponding sensor nodes to rigid components, particularly aircraft, said signals being transmitted wirelessly to a receiver. A microprocessor connected downstream of said receiver generates signals therefrom, said signals being represented optically, acoustically, and/or in a tactile manner, and substantially providing a spatial image of the measured physical parameters, wherein arising forces, states, or loads, for example, can be derived therefrom. This can be done automatically, and the result can be used for controlling the aforementioned device, such as the paraglider, aircraft, or sailboat, or the approach to the load limit of the device can be displayed. |
