<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high definition and narrow-frame of a display panel, in case of adopting pixel constitution of constituting a unit pixel of a plurality of adjacent sub-pixels belonging to a plurality of lines, and of imparting, to a drive transistor, a function for controlling a light emitting period/light non-emitting period. <P>SOLUTION: An active matrix type organic EL display 10B is constituted with the pixel constitution of constituting the unit pixel 20b of the four adjacent sub-pixels 20W, 20R, 20G, 20B belonging to the two upper and lower lines, and of imparting, to the drive transistor, the function for controlling the light emitting period/light non-emitting period of an organic EL element 21. Power supply lines 32 (32-1 to 32-m) are wired one by one in each of the plurality of lines, in the active matrix type organic EL display 10B, and one power supply line 32 is made common for the four sub-pixels 20W, 20R, 20G, 20B constituting the same unit pixel 20b, and belonging to the two upper and lower lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
