<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus which prevents an abnormal image from being displayed after detecting an abnormal state of an image output section by means of a display control section. <P>SOLUTION: The image display apparatus is provided with the display control section 28. The display control section 28 is configured so that an image signal input to the image output section 24 from a navigation part 21 is displayed following the transition of a display image displayed on a liquid crystal panel 33 and also a synchronous signal transmitted to the image output section 24 from the navigation part 21 is monitored, and when the synchronous signal is not input, communication with the image output section 24 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
