PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having improved uneven wear resistance while suppressing the occurrence of a sipe tear. SOLUTION: The volume of a shoulder rib 421 is divided into a region Rin on the tire-cross-direction inside and a region Rout on the tire-cross-direction outside with a tire-cross-direction center C of the shoulder rib 421 as a boundary to set the rate of the volume of a sipe to the region Rin to beαand the rate of the volume of a sipe to the region Rout to beβ. A range of 0≤1.5α≤β≤0.3 is established, and a range of 2≤b/a is established where a is the depth of the sipe at a position 5 mm distant from the tire-cross-direction center C of the shoulder rib 421 to the side of the region Rin and b is the depth of the sipe at a position 5 mm distant therefrom to the side of the region Rout.
