<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sudden time-out of Web, and ensure reliable business processing using Web by reporting the time-out (Http session time-out) of Web to a user in processing of a Web application such as on-line shopping, and allowing a user to change the time-out time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The system comprises an application system (server) 30 which provides an application service through a network 20; and a client 10 which is provided with the application service through the network 20. The application system (server) 30 transmits a program for generating a window for displaying information for the time-out of Web session in the application service to the client 10, and the client 10 displays the window based on the received program.
