<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of game machines which is capable of detecting abnormality of a signal wire for transmitting a control command. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The second byte of an error command 81 is defined as "55H(01010101B)" set and reset every other bit, so that, when a display control board D accurately receives the error command 81 to display the error, it is confirmed that there is no bridge (short circuit) in the signal wire for transmitting the control command. The second byte of an error clear command 82 is defined as "2AH(00101010B)" formed by a bit reversal of the error command 81, so that when the display control board D accurately receives the error clear command 82 along with the error command 81 and returns the error display to an original display before the error, it is confirmed that there is no disconnection in the signal wire for transmitting the control command.
