摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of automating release by reducing the release load of a discharge driven roller. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this recording device, a discharge device includes the discharge driven roller 45 in contact with a discharge drive roller 44 in an energized state to the roller 44, a position switching mechanism part 6 for locating the discharge driven roller 45 at each position of a nip position N and a release position R by changing the position of a support frame 80 for freely rotatably supporting the discharge driven roller 45, degree applying parts 83 and 84 arranged on an opposite side of the discharge drive roller 44 of the support frame 80 to perform the positioning of the discharge driven roller 45 existing at the nip position N since a part of the support frame 80 abuts, and an energizing member 85 arranged on the discharge drive roller 44 side of the support frame 80 to press the support frame 80 on the degree applying parts 83 and 84. The position switching mechanism part 6 is constituted to avoid the abutting state of the support frame 80 on the degree applying parts 83 and 84 when the discharge driven roller 45 existing at the nip position N is moved to the release position R.
