<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method and a water treatment device by which denitrification bacteria can be made into granules while continuously allowing the water to be treated to flow into a complete mixing type denitrification tank in the treatment of the water to be treated containing nitrate ions and nitrite ions. <P>SOLUTION: In the denitrification method, by which the water to be treated is continuously fed to a complete mixing type denitrification tank, and also a hydrogen doner is fed, and nitrate ions and nitrite ions comprised in the water to be treated are reduced into nitrogen with denitrification bacteria, the hydrogen doner is fed to the denitrification tank in such a manner that the concentration of the hydrogen doner in the hydraulic retention time of the water to be treated within the denitrification tank changes with the lapse of time and also a difference between the maximum concentration and the minimum concentration of the hydrogen doner in the hydraulic retention time reaches a concentration difference to induce the self-granulation of the denitrification bacteria. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
