<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive unit which can eliminate the adhesion of a friction engagement member to a vibrating member. <P>SOLUTION: In the drive unit 1 which includes an electromechanical transducing element 5 which is elongated and contracted when applied with a voltage, the columnar vibrating member 6 which is axially displaced by the elongation and contraction of the electromechanical transducing element 5, and the friction engagement member 7 which is friction-engaged with the vibrating member 6 so as to be slidable and displaceable with respect to the vibrating member, there are arranged a rotating drive member 4 which rotates the vibrating member 6 around a shaft, and a guide shaft 8 which elongates in parallel with the vibrating member 6, is slidably engaged with the friction engagement member 7, and regulates the rotation of the vibrating member 6 around the shaft of the friction engagement member 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
