<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily reduce the size of a random number generator generating a random number. <P>SOLUTION: This random number generator has: a ferromagnetic thin wire 10 made of a ferromagnetic material and receiving current supply; a magnetization wire 20 crossing the ferromagnetic thin wire 10, receiving the power supply, and magnetizing the ferromagnetic thin wire; a current supply circuit 50 supplying current to the magnetization wire 20 and the ferromagnetic thin wire 10; a resistance measurement circuit measuring an electric resistance value of the ferromagnetic thin wire; and a random number generation circuit generating the random number based on the electric resistance value of the ferromagnetic thin wire measured by the resistance measurement circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
