<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, preventing a member in the apparatus from moving when the member is not properly set. <P>SOLUTION: When an exposure part is located in an exposure position, a toner collecting container (a removable member) 49 detachable from the exposure part is located in a first position (Fig.7(b)), thereby closing an opening/closing cover. On the other hand, when the exposure part is located in a retreat position, the toner collecting container 49 is located in a second position (Fig.7(a)) so that the opening/closing cover cannot be closed. Therefore, when the toner collecting part 49 is located in the second position and the exposure part is located in the retreat position, a front cover 21 is not closed to prevent the image forming apparatus 1 from operating when the exposure part is located in the retreat position. Thus, when the toner collecting container 49 is fitted, the image forming apparatus 1 can be prevented from operating when the member (the exposure part) in the apparatus is not properly set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
