PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat capable of maintaining a collision point of a head of an occupant with a supporting part before the supporting part reaches the collision corresponding position from a middle position of the relative movement during a rear end collision of a vehicle, and receiving the head at the similar timing to that of the collision corresponding position even during the relative movement of the supporting part. SOLUTION: The vehicle seat has a headrest moving mechanism 10 capable of executing the relative movement of a supporting part 4A of a headrest 4 for receiving a head 60 of an occupant seated in a seat 1 to the collision corresponding position W3 moved to the forward upper direction from the initial position W1 during a rear end collision of a vehicle. During the rear end collision of the vehicle, the supporting part 4A depicts a locus that it is moved upwardly while being inclined forwardly so that an upper portion of the supporting part 4A is projected forwardly, and then, moved upwardly while being erected so as to be returned to the posture angle at the initial position W1 while maintaining a collision point P2 between the supporting part 4A and the head 60.
